Avatar: An In-Gallery Game at the Peabody Essex Museum’s Playtime Exhibit

Avatar was an in-gallery digital game that deals with questions about assumed identities, IRL profiles and how we can predict someone’s IRL identity based on how they create an avatar. The purpose was for the game to be quick and light, a rest for gallery-goers and somewhere that families and kids could congregate. It was played on two digital touch-screens during the Peabody Essex Museum’s Playtime exhibit.
